Well I did it! 6 hours and 32 minutes, hooray. I can now retire (yes, really this time) in relative pride.

I was going to write more but I'm knackered due to a weekend of weeding, digging, planting, mulching and building with a bit of partying thrown in for good measure so the words aren't flowing. It's not like the old days.

Erk.

The Moonwalk is this Saturday and I'm feeling a weird mixture of looking forward to it and completely bricking it. My final training walk on Sunday was very eventful with all the nettles, flies, bulls, racehorces, fields of 7 foot high rapeseed, more flies, doing a "gladiator" through fields of barley and even more flies. At least it's left me fairly confident that I'm adequately trained up for Saturday. Saturday should, in theory, be easier because it's tarmac, no hills, more to keep my mind active and no rucksack of supplies to lug around.

So wish me luck (and sponsor me if you haven't already, g'wan)!

Oo-arr got me first crop from the allotment. Lovely leeks. Not the largest in the world but it's not the size, it's how you use it.
