I had a hospital appointment today (the one that's been postponed since June). I waited over an hour and a half and by the time I finally got to see the specialist you could tell he was keen to get rid of me and did/said nothing helpful at all. A waste of everyone's time and tax money.
So here I am 2 hours late for work (which I'll have to make up afterwards) and bloody hungry.

Urgh the winter depression sets in. Things are still pretty hectic and I'm not too keen on the idea of going away so far where I don't know anybody. I did it before for uni but that was ok because it was Uni and everyone was in the same boat and there were lots of clubs to join. A friend and I have arranged to go sailing (when the weather improves obviously) which has cheered me up a lot though. On the bright side, as I said a couple of days ago, I get paid a lot of moneh and get more holiday, which should give me lots of leeway for visiting people.

Had a great day yesterday. The company takeover has lead me to have a significant payrise plus health plan, gym membership and car allowance (nearly wrote cow allowance! Need sleep - come to that later) but even more excitingly I've found a shop that sells millions (possible exaggeration) of exotic spices at low, low prices and topped it off by making a rather authentic and scrummy madras! Bloody good. Cooking vindaloo tonight.
Mirthed at Stuii's blog about footballers a couple of days ago. I agree with every word of it.
Pillock upstairs set the fire alarm off upon arrival back from drinking (3am) again. Why can't he just get a kebab like everone else? *blear*.

Was reminded of the stupidity of superstitions and, of course, people yesterday when some daft bint walked into the road to avoid walking under a ladder. She was walking with her back to the traffic and didn't look back to see if anything was coming. Some poor driver had to skid to a halt and only narrowly missed her. Ridiculous.
Haven't been writing much lately for various reasons. My company has been taken over wich means I'm moving to Newbury. The whole thing is very scary and exciting at the same time but it's dragging on and on. So much to get sorted! Last week I went to visit the place and it seemed very nice. It was weird spending the entire week at a hotel with everything paid by the company. It seems like luxury but it got a bit lonely and frustrating at times.
