Let's not forget.

Oh for god's sake not another strike. Can't people in this country find a better way to sort their grievances with their bosses without making life difficult for everyone else. It's getting fucking annoying now, excuse my language. I'm getting sick of being used as a pawn in these power/money struggles.

'The Royal Mail says the pay offer is a 14.5% increase, but the union says that is a "dishonest" claim....It says the only definite money on offer was 3% from October and a further 1.5% next April.'

FFS. My last payrise was 4% after a long wait (my pay isn't that great to begin with compared to some in my field) and if I'd striked I'd have been damn well sacked. As for the job cuts, well some can have huge payrises or everyone can have jobs. That's the way it works in the harsh reality of business these days.

It'll be interesting to see how the BA strikers react when they're made redundant a few months down the line because BA isn't making enough profit to pay them anymore. I wouldn't fly BA anyway but certainly not now. The way they treated their customers was unacceptable and they expect to be supported by them. I wish people would stop stamping their feet every time they don't like something and deal with it in a mature and sensible way. Striking should be a last resort, not a first one.

Bittersweet weekend. Matt went back to Notts, SCHNIFFLE but I had a good night out on Saturday where I bumped into my friend Steve who I lost touch with a couple of years ago and it was cool to see him again. Turns out that he was actually on his stag night! Far too many people getting engaged at the moment, it's making me feel old.

It's all been very interesting and fun but sadly I can't be arsed to spend lots of time writing about it on here. tata.
